I have been a Registered Mental Health Nurse since 1998. In addition to his mental health nursing qualification, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences in 2003 from King George’s Hospital Medical School at University of London and in 2006 he qualified as an Independent Nurse Prescriber.
Joe is a highly skilled and a very experienced nurse. He has held a number of clinical leadership and healthcare management positions in the NHS and the private healthcare sector. He has worked in Adult Mental Health Services, Forensic Mental Health, the Prison Service, Substance Misuse Services, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Community Paediatric Services. He is a passionate advocate of mental health and neurodevelopmental services for children and young people to help them achieve their full potential and divert them away from the criminal justice system.
