I am is a neuro-psychiatrist and Member of Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK with more than 18 years of experience of working in NHS, UK. Besides my specialist training (CCT) in Psychiatry, in 2014 I was awarded Distinction in MSc Clinical Neuropsychiatry by University of Birmingham, UK.
During my career, I have regularly received complements from patients and carers for my ability to empathise with them, understand their concerns and develop a structured, evidence-based, treatment plan to manage their illness.
I have been involved in several research projects in the last 10 years. Until recently I was Chief Investigator for a Phase II trial in UK and Principal Investigator for two Phase III trials. Also, I was Medical Education Tutor and Education Supervisor for medical trainees.
For my leadership and management skills, I was awarded “Innovation prize” by the South-West division of Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK in 2012. In 2018 and again in 2022, he was awarded Clinical Excellence Awards in recognition of my contribution towards the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care.
I currently work as Consultant Psychiatrist in a community mental health team in UK, and treat patients suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, and neurocognitive disorders, such as Dementia, Delirium, and Parkinson’s psychosis.
