Dr Sreenath is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in the NHS.
He has expertise in Old age psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry.
He is an accomplished Psychiatrist bringing in a unique blend of biological psychiatry, psychotherapeutic principles and holistic philosophy in his patient centred approach. He incorporates evidence-based treatment modalities for individual patient situation.
His special interest is in neuropsychiatry, psychiatric presentation in the elderly including anxiety, mood disorders, Psychosis and has successfully managed memory clinics. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a variety of presentations in Dementia.
He is an Approved Clinician and approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act as having special experience in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. He has written psychiatric reports for the courts.
He was involved in managing and delivering high quality Dementia research projects. As a college tutor in the previous NHS Trust, he organized medical education and training activities. He has published in peer reviewed journals.
