I graduated in Psychiatry in India, before undertaking further training in the UK. I obtained Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry from Leeds University.
I completed my higher training in two specialities and hold a dual CCT in both General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry.
For the past ten years I have been working as a General Adult Psychiatry Consultant in the community. Within these roles I have been heavily involved in medical education and training.
In my spare time, I am an avid reader fiction reader and enjoy gardening, music and long walks.
