I am a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist with special Interest in Adult ADHD and Addiction Psychiatry.
After completing my core training and achieving MRCPsych from the Royal College of Psychiatrists, I completed my higher training in Adult Psychiatry and was awarded CCT by the General Medical Council UK.
I have over 15 years’ experience in the field of psychiatry and all my work experience and training in this profession is from UK. I have always been fascinated by the field of neurosciences and psychology. The interface of the human brain and the mind and how it impacts on our day-to-day activities has been a constant source of interest for me.
I have experience in a wide range of mental illnesses, including Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Stress and Trauma-Related Disorders, Behaviour and Psychological Disorders and Personality Disorders.
I also have a special interest in Addiction Psychiatry, Adult ADHD and Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I am multi-linguistic and speak English, Urdu, Pushto and Hindi.
