I completed my Medical Degree in India and moved to the UK in 2003. After completing my Psychiatry training in the UK and obtaining MRCPsych, I completed higher speciality training with CCT in General Adult Psychiatry and Substance Misuse. I have also completed a PG certificate module in Medical Education at Edgehill University.
I have experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, stress and trauma related disorders, personality disorders and dual diagnosis (mental health problems with alcohol/drugs misuse or dependence).
I also have the experience of working as a consultant in community perinatal psychiatry services. I have a special interest in Adult ADHD and am keen to learn more about this.
Other than English, I can also speak Hindi and Telugu.
