Dr Mary Kloer trained as a Medical Doctor at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in London, graduating in 1995. She undertook her psychiatric training in Oxford, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2004. She has been on the GMC Specialist Register as a General Adult Psychiatrist since 2011 and working as a substantive NHS Consultant Psychiatrist from that time.

Dr Kloer has broad experience within mental health community services, crisis care and inpatient services, as well as specialist experience leading a community perinatal service. She receives consistently good feedback around her patient care. Her roles within the NHS have included Clinical and Medical Director leadership of Adult Mental Health services. Dr Kloer is a compassionate and conscientious clinician. She is dedicated to providing high quality collaborative patient care.

More recently, she has trained and undertaken medico-legal work as an Expert Witness for family courts. She is also employed by the CQC as a Second Opinion Appointed Doctor (SOAD) to safeguard patients detained under the Mental Health Act.
