Dr Waleed Ahmed has many years’ experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist. He has worked within the NHS, the independent sector and internationally.
After completing his training in Psychiatry he worked within the Norfolk and Suffolk Mental Health Trust.
He has been a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2008 and keeps his knowledge and skills in the field up to date. He follows the national guidance for assessment and management of psychiatric problems.
Dr Ahmed has experience in managing various mental health problems and he can assess and manage:
- Adult ADHD
- Psychotic disorders
- Anxiety disorders
- Personality disorders
- Affective disorders with or without psychosis, such as depression
- Bipolar mood disorders
- Neuropsychiatric disorders
