Dr Katarzyna Siubka-Wood graduated from Silesian Medical Academy, since renamed Silesian Medical University, in Katowice – Poland. She completed all of her postgraduate medical training in the UK, completing her Specialist Training in September 2003.
Since 2003 Dr Siubka-Wood has been a specialist in General Adult Psychiatry working as a Consultant in a large NHS Trust.
Dr Katarzyna Wood is a Psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in the diagnosing and treatment of Working Age Adults presenting to secondary mental health services. Her experience includes inpatient and community settings.
For several years she was actively involved in medical education and was an Examiner with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
She is also a Medical Member of First-tier Mental Health Tribunal.
