I am a UK trained consultant psychiatrist, certified by the General Medical Council. I worked as Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist, clinical lead of the liaison service at Oxford Health Foundation Trust and National Spinal Injury Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and senior clinical lecturer (honorary), department of psychiatry, University of Oxford. Executive member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Liaison Psychiatry Faculty and member of Royal College of Psychiatrists board of examination. Previously consultant psychiatrist in Cambridge and Peterborough NHS foundation Trust, visiting researcher and undergraduate tutor at the department of psychiatry university of Cambridge. I managed to combine my training and early consultant career with academic research and PhD focused on mood disorder and fatigue in renal disease. Recognition of my growing profile in liaison psychiatry was reflected of being awarded Clinical Excellence Award for 3 consecutive years 2018, 2019 and 2020. My research interests include mood disorder and fatigue in chronic physical illness and end‐stage kidney disease which was the topic of his doctoral thesis. Has published widely in this area and presented work nationally and internationally.
