Dr Deepak Sachdeva is a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and cognitive disorders, with over 20 years of psychiatric experience, working as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2010.

His clinical focus is ASD assessments in adults of all ages, with a particular interest in middle-aged and older adults, including women and those who mask or present later in life.

Dr Sachdeva’s approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and collaborative, attuned to the varied ways autism can present, particularly in those who have gone unrecognised for many years.

He offers assessments and support for:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – adults of all ages, including women and late-identified individuals
  • Cognitive and memory concerns – adults of all ages
  • Depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and psychosis in older adults

Dr Sachdeva completed core psychiatry training (MRCPsych, 2007) with specialist training in later-life psychiatry (CCT, 2010), and has undertaken formal ASD diagnostic training. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and has held senior leadership roles across the NHS and private sector.

Outside of work, he volunteers in his community and enjoys chess and keeping active.
