Dr Ehab Khattab is a full member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is a consultant Learning Disabilities psychiatrist in North East London NHS foundation trust in the United Kingdom.
Having graduated from Cairo University medical school he moved to the UK where he undertook his training in psychiatry followed by specialty training in the field of Learning disabilities and Autism. He obtained a masters degree from the University of Kent.
Following his appointment as a consultant psychiatrist in one of the most challenging areas of London he undertook various roles such as the lead of CPA implementation in LD within the trust and drafting the operational policy for the community LD team in NELFT boroughs of Barking and Dagenham.
In addition to being a clinical supervisor, he is a tutor for Barts and London medical school, section 12 approved, clinical supervisor and DOLs approved assessor. Special interests include the the neurodiversity and its interface with mental health conditions. Dr Khattab is an examiner at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
