I have worked as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in the NHS and in the private practice for over 9 years. I am Specialist Associate Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a member of British Association of Psychopharmacology. I am working currently as a Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with the Neurodevelopment team in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS trust. I have a special interest in interventional psychiatry using TMS therapy in young people with resistant emotional difficulties and severe depression. I am a member of International Clinical TMS society and Lead Clinician of the TMS Treatment in Adolescents Affinity Group.
I am passionate about helping young people and their families deal with the challenges of mental health as well as other complexities that young people are faced with. My specialised training in Systemic Therapy and family dynamics has enabled me to develop a bespoke approach to support parents and families with complex needs. I am ADOS , 3Di and QB trained and I provide assessment and management of difficulties related to ADHD, ASD, , OCD , Anxiety and Depression and Behavioural and Emotional Difficulties. I am aware of how important it is to provide a safe and encouraging space for my patients and their families. I believe in having a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to create a therapeutic relationship that will enable my young patients to feel comfortable, listen to and help them to move forward and thrive.
