Dr Rauf has 20 years’ experience in psychiatry including 11 years at consultant level in NHS. Dr Rauf is a Fellow of Royal College of Psychiatrist and approved under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act. She became member of Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2009 and has been on GMC Specialist Register with CCT in Psychiatry of Learning Disability since 2013. Dr Rauf obtained MSc in Mental Health Sciences from University of Kent (2009).
Dr Rauf is highly skilled clinician with expertise in assessment and management of most of the mental health disorders. Dr Rauf has a special interest in Neurodevelopmental disorders with enhanced specialist skills and outstanding experience in conducting specialist ADHD and Autism assessments and devising effective and appropriate person-centred management plans.
Dr Rauf has completed extensive Autism assessment training including Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised). Dr Rauf obtained post graduate certificate in medical Education from Warwick University in 2014 and is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK since 2014. She is a Training Programme Director within HEE West Midlands and is actively involved in teaching and training of medical students and Psychiatry Trainees.
