I am a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in adult mental health, working across hospital and community settings in both Poland and the United Kingdom. I graduated as a medical doctor from the Silesian Medical University in Katowice, Poland, and completed my specialist training in Psychiatry. I have been practicing in the UK since 2004 and hold specialist registration with the General Medical Council.
My professional experience spans a broad range of services in both the NHS and private sector, including acute and intensive psychiatric care, crisis resolution, community mental health teams, liaison psychiatry, assertive outreach, psychiatric rehabilitation, forensic psychiatry, addiction services, and psychotherapy.
I adopt a holistic, patient-centered approach that integrates evidence-based psychiatric treatment with consideration of the whole person, including physical health, lifestyle, and personal goals. My aim is to provide thoughtful, collaborative care that promotes long-term mental well-being and recovery.
My areas of expertise include the assessment and treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, including phobias and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I have extensive experience working with individuals affected by post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar affective disorder, and psychotic illnesses. I also specialise in the management of personality disorders. In addition, I have significant expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD.
