Associate Specialist Psychiatrist

I have over 8 years of experience in mental health and 15 years in Public Health Medicine. Specializing in assessment, diagnosis, and management of psychiatric conditions, I have worked across both adult and children services. I am also passionate about research and quality improvement, working to enhance services and contribute to the advancement of mental health care.
Currently, I work with young people with a wide range of psychiatric disorders who require biopsychosocial treatments for multiple comorbidities.
I have a particular interest in ADHD and Tourette’s Disorder and am passionate about helping individuals and families better understand these conditions. I recognise that ADHD can affect many areas of life, including education, work, relationships, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. My assessments are thorough, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual, ensuring that every person’s unique strength and challenge are fully understood.
I am calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental . I believe that good communication and active listening are essential to building trust and making people feel comfortable throughout the assessment process. I take time to understand each person’s story and work collaboratively to provide clear explanations, practical recommendations, and ongoing support where needed.
