Dr. Elghawail has over 21 years of experience in Psychiatry. He was trained as a psychiatrist in the North East of England and earned his Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2008. He completed his specialist training with the Northern Deanery and he was awarded Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Psychiatry and Addictions by the General Medical Council (GMC) in 2012. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Neurology from University College London (UCL).

For 13 years (since 2012), Dr. Elghawail has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist, working across both the NHS and the independent sector. His experience spans inpatient care, where he managed patients with acute and complex mental health conditions, as well as community mental health settings, providing assessment and treatment for adults with a wide range of mental health challenges. He has also been actively involved in early intervention services for psychosis.

Dr. Elghawail has specialized training and extensive experience in the assessment and management of ADHD and has worked over several years assessing and treating individuals with this condition. Furthermore, he is skilled and experienced in evaluating and managing cases of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
