Dr Saadiya Khan is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 19 years of NHS practice and a strong reputation for delivering warm, compassionate and clinically robust ADHD and Autism assessments. Now working full-time with Psychiatry-UK, she provides remote assessments that are calm, supportive and designed to help patients feel genuinely heard and understood.
Dr Khan brings a rare and valuable all-age perspective to her work, having trained and practised extensively across both General Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Before transitioning to full-time remote practice, she worked as a Consultant in CAMHS while also carrying out adult ADHD assessments, giving her deep insight into how neurodevelopmental conditions present and evolve from childhood through adulthood. Patients frequently appreciate this breadth of expertise, especially those who have struggled for years to make sense of their experiences.
She completed her CCT in General Adult Psychiatry in 2020 and gained Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2017. She is listed on the GMC Specialist Register. Her NHS experience is wide-ranging, including roles in Early Intervention in Psychosis, Eating Disorders, Perinatal Psychiatry, Liaison services, PICU, Learning Disability teams and crisis and community services. In addition, she has significant experience within a dedicated Adult Autism service and has completed ADI-R training, ADOS and DIVA trainings, which adds depth and structure to her autism and ADHD assessments.
