GMC 7476825
I am a consultant psychiatrist with over 10 years of clinical experience and have been a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2019. I have pursued extensive training and achieved multiple qualifications early in my career, reflecting my dedication to delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based mental health care.
My specialist areas include ADHD, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. Over the years, I have worked across a wide range of clinical settings, including inpatient services, community teams, intensive care, general adult and older adult psychiatry, perinatal mental health, learning disability services, and rehabilitation. This breadth of experience allows me to offer a well‑rounded, compassionate, and tailored approach to each individual I work with.
I am actively involved in medical education and assessment. I have served as an OSCE examiner for Newcastle University and Manchester Medical School, and I am also a PLAB 2 examiner for international medical graduates at the General Medical Council. Supporting and assessing future doctors is an important part of my professional life, and it strengthens my commitment to maintaining high clinical standards.
Leadership has been a consistent part of my journey. I have held several representative roles, including trainee deanery representative for the School of Psychiatry and for the Quality Assurance Committee. These roles have deepened my understanding of service development, training quality, and patient‑centred care.
My clinical style is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect. I aim to create a safe, non‑judgmental space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy fitness, travelling, shopping, and spending quality time with friends and family — the things that help me stay balanced and bring a human touch to my practice.
