Private Adult Autism Assessment Scotland
Private, online autism assessment for adults anywhere in Scotland, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee for £1,950. No GP referral needed.
NHS waiting times vary hugely by Health Board, and some boards still don’t have a dedicated adult pathway. Right to Choose, the NHS-funded private route some people have heard about, isn’t available in Scotland. We give you a faster, fully online alternative, with a clear price from the start.

What’s included for £1,950
A full diagnostic experience, delivered by expert consultant psychiatrists, with your written report and recommendations tailored to your needs.
You’ll receive:
- A one-hour online consultation with a Consultant Psychiatrist
- Pre-assessment questionnaires, including the AQ-10 and informant report
- A fully written, comprehensive, NICE-compliant diagnostic report within 7 working days
What You Need to Know
Right to Choose is not currently available to patients in Scotland, it only applies to eligible patients registered with a GP in England. This means the usual NHS-funded private route that some people may have heard about doesn't apply here.
That doesn't mean your options are limited. Adults across Scotland can:
- Book a private Autism assessment with Psychiatry UK with no GP referral required.
- Access the full assessment, diagnosis and treatment pathway entirely online.
- Choose private assessment as an alternative to NHS waiting times, which vary significantly by Health Board.
We'll always tell you honestly what's involved and what to expect before you book.
