- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in adults and children
- Dementia and memory loss
- Addiction
- Stress and anxiety
- Mood disorders and depression
- And more
Psychiatry UK is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated healthcare provider. Our services are delivered by GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrists, providing diagnosis and treatment both privately and on behalf of the NHS. We are also a qualified provider of adult ADHD and ASD services under the NHS Right to Choose (RTC) scheme.
Our Story
Psychiatry UK was founded in 2012 with a clear purpose: to make high‑quality mental health care more accessible, timely and patient‑focused.
Since our inception, we have supported more than 150,000 people to access the care they need. Today, we deliver over 3,000 initial assessments each month and work with a network of more than 280 Consultant Psychiatrists, combining clinical expertise with secure digital technology to deliver safe, effective care at scale.
As demand for mental health services continues to grow, we continue to innovate and invest – always with patient safety, quality and experience at the centre of everything we do.
Clinical Excellence, Quality & Safety
We are proud of our strong clinical credentials and our ongoing commitment to quality and patient safety.
- We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and assessed against the same standards as NHS mental health services. Following our most recent inspection in 2025, we received a GOOD rating.
- Over the last 24 months, we have made significant investments to strengthen our clinical governance, safety frameworks and service delivery as our organisation has grown.
- All Psychiatry UK assessments are led by GMC‑registered Consultant Psychiatrists. This consultant‑led model sets us apart within the wider sector.
- We have doubled our Consultant Psychiatrist clinical capacity in the last 12 months, enabling meaningful reductions in waiting times for patients.
- We only assess patients who have been referred by NHS GPs, ensuring that care is provided to individuals with clear clinical need.
- Our Autism and ADHD diagnosis rates are aligned with NHS Trust and national benchmarks, and our assessments comply with NICE guidance and the National Framework for Autism Assessment Services.
- We continue to invest in AI‑enabled tools that support clinical decision‑making, quality assurance and patient safety-always with a safety‑first, clinically governed approach.
