Qualifications: Dip HE, BSc, V300 Non medical prescribing.
I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), qualifying with my diploma in 2003 and earning my BScdegree in 2010 at the University of Chester. I have a background working in adult mental health/social care and am currently working in adult mental health services.
Since qualifying as a nurse I have continued to develop myself, both personally and professionally, and continue to enjoy advances and challenges within the evolutionary world of health care.
I successfully completed my V-300 independent Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) course in 2014 and have continued to utilise my prescribing skills, both within mental health and neuro-developmental disorders.
In addition to my current role within the NHS, I have also worked for the past four years supporting my local NHS Trust’s specialist ADHD service; completing assessments & reviews; supporting service users transitioning from child & adolescent services into adult ADHD services and prescribing/supporting ADHD medication titrations.
I look forward to working with and supporting clients accessing Psychiatry UK during their titration phase.
