Dr Krishna Madhusudhan is a consultant Child and adolescent Psychiatrist with over 15 years’ experience in NHS.
When children and young people develop mental health issues and need support, it needs to be timely and effective. Dr Krishna Madhusudhan works to achieve this using a person-centred approach with the child/adolescent and their family. He is experienced in Assessment, Diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, Depression, OCD, Anxiety and a Range of mental health disorders. He offers assessments for ASD and complex neurodevelopmental disorders. He offers consultation for children with Learning disability and Mental illness.
Dr Krishna Madhusudhan uses wide range of therapeutic skills CBT, IPT, Psychodynamic therapy and Family therapy with medication as adjunct to treat children/ adolescents.
He is a member of the Royal college of Psychiatrists, Association of Child and adolescent Mental Health and is an affiliate of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical medicine. He is a consultant appraiser for their annual appraisals and GMC revalidation; he has trained both junior doctors and higher specialist trainees. He has been a clinical supervisor of doctors and clinicians and has been the lead of a team in NHS.
Dr Krishna Madhusudhan has qualifications form Universities of Cardiff, Edgehill and Manchester in addition to CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
