I’m a fully qualified psychiatrist with a CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Old Age Psychiatry. In 2002 I completed my medical degree at the University of Wales College of Medicine and a year later I embarked upon a career specialising in Psychiatry, mostly working with older patients.
I have expertise in diagnosing and treating common mental health disorders in adults of all ages, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), depression and dementia/memory disorders. I strongly believe in working collaboratively with patients to develop a clear understanding of their condition and create a personalised treatment plan.
Please note that for ASD assessments, I partner with an ASD Co-worker to provide a multidisciplinary approach to assessment and diagnosis (which is recommended by the NICE guidelines for ASD in Adults).
