Dr Daryanani began her medical career in the NHS in 1988 and has over 35 years of experience in psychiatry. She worked as an NHS Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for 19 years and, since 2023, has been part of Psychiatry UK, contributing to the ADHD assessment and treatment pathways.
She has extensive expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of mental health difficulties across both young people and adults. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, obsessive–compulsive disorder, tic disorders, and psychotic disorders. Her particular areas of interest include mental health conditions in young people, ADHD, and eating disorders.
Dr Daryanani currently works as a Consultant Psychiatrist within the Adult ADHD pathway as well as a Specialist Prescriber in the Adult Titration pathway.
