Qualification: BSc Nursing (Mental Health), V300 Nurse Prescribing.
I am a registered mental health nurse and an independent prescriber. I have worked in different mental health settings within the NHS, both inpatient and community (mainly adult). I have experience in the assessment and treatment of general mental health conditions.
I later specialised in ADHD where I am currently practising as an ADHD Specialist Practitioner and Independent Prescriber in NHS. I also work privately as a Freelance Practitioner with P-UK supporting with the titration and stabilisation of treatment for adults with ADHD.
I am passionate about supporting people to better understand and manage their conditions so that they find pleasure in what they enjoy and continue to be functional. I also enjoy personal development, always on the look out for practice updates and new approaches from journals, webinars, interactions with colleagues etc.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going out for a walk, updating myself with current global current affairs, reading or just relaxing.
