I am a Maudsley trained Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over 10 years’ experience as a Consultant in the NHS.
I have worked in both inpatient and community settings, assessing and managing children and adolescents requiring mental health support. I work closely with parents, carers and the wider network as appropriate and offer a holistic approach, taking into account biological, psychological and social aspects.
I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years, initially training to be a General Practitioner and conducting psychiatric research at Imperial College London.
I have recently worked as a Clinical Director for CAMHS services across South West London, approving leadership for school-based teams, community teams ( general and specialist) as well as inpatient services.
