I have had a keen interest in psychiatry from an early age, as I grew up within a family where severe and enduring mental illness was present.
I was born and raised in the USA and then moved with my family to the Middle East as a teenager before coming to London to obtain my medical degree (MBBS) at St George’s Hospital Medical School (2007).
Thereafter I worked in and around London, eventually becoming a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) in 2012.
I have been working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in various roles, including an acute in-patient ward, rehabilitation units, and various community settings since 2018.
I believe in working collaboratively with patients and their families to create personalised treatment plans that put the patients’ wishes at the centre of every decision.
