I am a fully qualified Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and work as a consultant both within the NHS and privately.
I studied Medicine at the University of Cambridge and University College London. I trained in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the prestigious Maudsley Hospital and have experience working in National and Specialist services.
I have experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist leading neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment teams in London and Cambridgeshire, including NHS ADHD Clinics.
I am a published author of several publications, textbook chapters and prescribing guidelines on ADHD, mental health and autism and have presented my research internationally.
I have experience with a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar affective disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Tourette’s syndrome. I have a special interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, how they can present differently in girls and boys, and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety and depression.
I am described as a warm, approachable and skilled clinician and always provide the highest standards of clinical care. I understand the importance of developing positive relationships with you and your child and take time to listen carefully to all views.
I live in Hertfordshire and have two children of my own.
