I have been a Consultant Psychiatrist for over 20 years, supporting adults with mental health needs, including ADHD, ASD and adults with intellectual disabilities.
After graduating in Spain and completing further generic medical training in the UK, I joined Guy’s Psychiatric Rotation in 1995 (London and Kent area) .
I have a range of experience working with people in the community, as well as in mental health in-patient settings. I have worked both for the NHS and private mental health organisations.
During the course of my work, I have kept up to date with annual training, which has included training in the use of Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults ( DIVA ), the use of Diagnostic Interview for Social Communication Disorder ( DISCO ) and the use of 3 Di, Computerised assessment of Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
