Dr Kumar has been practicing psychiatry since 2002. He has been member of Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2007. He has been working as consultant psychiatrist in a NHS Crisis Resolution Team in London for 10 years. He specialises in adult mental health problems. He is particularly interested in supporting people going through a period of crisis in their mental health and wellbeing. He uses whole person approach in understanding and treating his patients.

He has deep interest in meditation and teaches meditation in his spare time.
