Dr Ahmed has over 13 years of experience in Psychiatry within the NHS, having started his career in 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery qualification, a Diploma in Psychiatry (Ireland), and is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is also listed on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry.

Additionally, Dr Ahmed has received training and has experience in providing medico-legal psychiatric assessments.

He has expertise in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental disorders and a special interest in ADHD assessment and management.

His areas of focus include:

  • Mood Disorders: including depression, bipolar affective disorder, and mania
