Dr Priscilla Kent (GMC 4159331) trained as a medical doctor at Barts and the London Medical college, graduating in 1994. She became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2000. She obtained an intercalated BSc in Psychology in 1991 and has been a substantive NHS consultant psychiatrist since 2013 in a busy community mental health team in inner city London.
Dr Kent has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, stress-related disorders, bipolar affective disorders, psychosis and personality disorders as well as adult ADHD. She has particular interest in psychotherapeutic approaches as well as working within the biopsychosocial model. She is currently working in Hackney.
