Dr Lakshmanan has 17 years of experience in Psychiatry with the NHS in the UK since February 2005. He has trained and worked in a wide range of subspecialties in Psychiatry including General Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Learning Disabilities and Forensic Psychiatry. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Diploma in Psychiatry and Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist register having acquired his Certificate of Completion of Training in General Adult Psychiatry.
Dr Lakshmanan has been employed as a Substantive NHS Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry since February 2015 in Wales. He has expertise in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental disorders and has a special interest in ADHD assessment and management.
