Dr Jemma Reid graduated from the Royal Free and University College London Medical School in 2009 and has been working in Psychiatry within the NHS since 2011.
She gained her membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2014 and in 2015 was awarded a MSc with distinction in Psychiatric Practice from the University of Hertfordshire.
She is currently enrolled on a PhD programme and has had research work published primarily on ObsessiveCompulsive Disorder, which became an area of special interest after working with the National Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Body Dysmorphic Disorder Service. She currently works as a Consultant Psychiatrist within a community mental health team and has experience in treating a broad range of mental health conditions, with particular expertise in the assessment and management of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
She is passionate about patient-centred care and using a holistic approach. She obtained a diploma in Lifestyle Medicine through the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine in 2020 and previously worked on a project to widen access within the community to sport and exercise in order to improve mental health.
