I am a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with 16 years’ experience in CAMHS; Since achieving CCT in Child and adolescent Psychiatry from Greater Glasgow and Clyde & Lanarkshire NHS trust, working as a CAMHS consultant in CTM, Wales.
In my previous role, extensive experience in assessment and treatment of different aspects of Child and Adolescent Mental health, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Eating Disorders and identifying Early Onset of Psychosis.
In my current role I am a clinical Lead for Neurodevelopmental Service; I am responsible for assessment, diagnosis and treatment of Neurodevelopmental conditions (ADHD, Tic Disorders, ASD) I am trained in 3DI, DISCO, ADOS tools for assessment of ASD.
I have extensive experience working in collaboration with local services about the looked after children and identifying and treating the complexities such as the Attachment Disorders, Post traumatic Stress Disorders and Foetal Alcohol Syndrome.
I am an educational supervisor for HEIW with contribute my passionate about teaching medical students, Registrars and Nurses and Pharmacy colleagues.
