We are recruiting for the following vacancies to build our specialist teams:

Consultant Psychiatrist

As a Consultant Psychiatrist with Psychiatry-UK, you will play a pivotal role in leading the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with various mental health conditions (where you have experience), including Adult ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, utilising your expertise to deliver evidence-based interventions and support to our patients.

Minimum Requirements: GMC registered with licence to practise and on the GMC specialist register in a psychiatric specialty.

Availability: Minimum 3 hours patient-facing time per week.

Associate Specialist Doctor

We are looking to expand our team of Associate Specialist Doctors to contribute to the delivery of high-quality psychiatric care. You will work closely with Consultant Psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to assess and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans and monitor progress. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career development and professional growth.

Minimum Requirements: GMC registered doctor with minimum 5 years post-qualification clinical experience. At least six months of this experience must be in psychiatry.

Availability: Minimum 7 hours per week, to include 5 hours patient-facing time and 2 hours supervision.

Titration Nurse / Non-Medical Prescriber

Psychiatry-UK’s Titration Nurses and Non-Medical Prescribers play a crucial role in supporting patients undergoing medication adjustments and titration. Your expertise in medication management and patient education will be instrumental in ensuring optimal treatment outcomes for individuals with ADHD. 

Minimum Requirements: NMC registered nurse or HCPC registered practitioner, with V300 Non-Medical Prescribing qualification. 

Availability: Minimum 6 hours per week, Monday – Sunday.

Neuro-Developmental Practitioner

We are looking for  Neuro-Developmental Practitioners to support Psychiatry-UK’s Post-Diagnostic Service. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate both individual and group sessions, providing therapeutic support to individuals diagnosed with ADHD/ASD. 

The role demands a comprehensive understanding of ADHD/ASD, a compassionate approach, and the ability to develop and deliver strategies that foster a supportive and inclusive environment.  

Minimum Requirements: Degree in Psychology, Nursing or related allied health profession and/or PCC/ACC Accreditation, with 2 years+ Adult ADHD experience.

Availability: Minimum 1 hour patient-facing time per week.

ASD Co-Worker

As an ASD Co-Worker, you will play a crucial role in the assessment and diagnostic process for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Working closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and the multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will contribute to the comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis of ASD, and writing post-assessment clinic letters.

Minimum Requirements: NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist, with ADOS and ADI-R qualification. Minimum 2 years working with ASD in a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).

Availability: Minimum 3 hours patient-facing time per week.
