I am a training-grade psychiatrist who has accumulated experience in general adult psychiatry, child and adolescent and older people’s mental health. I have treated individuals with a range of presentations including neurodiversity, affective and depressive disorders, psychotic illnesses and cognitive decline.
I studied for my undergraduate degree at the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth (formerly the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry). I gained qualification as a doctor (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) in 2017. I obtained full GMC registration with a licence to practice in 2018.
Thereafter, I took a year out of training to study for a Graduate Diploma in Law, which I achieved with commendation from Swansea University in 2019. After resuming and completing the Foundation Training Programme, I worked as a locum psychiatric doctor across two community mental health teams, before deciding to enter Core Training in Psychiatry. I have achieved full membership with the Royal College of Psychiatrists. I continue to work across inpatient and outpatient settings.
When not working, I enjoy reading, going to the theatre and spending quality time with my young family.
