Qualifications: Mental Health Nurse, Independent Prescriber.
I qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 2013 and I was also successful in qualifying as an Independent Nurse Prescriber in 2019 from The University of Chester. I have continued my professional development and I am currently studying for my Masters in adult nursing.
Since qualifying I have predominantly worked in Adult Psychiatry, in both the acute in-patient setting and community settings. In 2019 I was able to pursue my specialist interest in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental conditions and successfully gained a role as an Adult ADHD Specialist Nurse Prescriber within the NHS trust. I am also working with Psychiatry-UK providing support to the Consultant Psychiatrists during the treatment titration and stabilisation process for the management of ADHD symptoms.
I am passionate about nursing and the treatment of ADHD symptoms to improve the severity of symptoms to enable a greater quality of life.
