NMC Number: 91I1916E

Qualifications: Diploma HE, BA Hons, V300 Certificate in Independent and Supplementary Prescribing.

I qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 1994 (Liverpool), completed a BA (Hons) in Practitioner Leadership in 2000 (Manchester), and following completion of my V300 prescribing exams in 2013 (Chester), have been assessing, diagnosing and prescribing for a broad spectrum of mental health conditions since.

I have worked in and across various mental health setting, including Acute Care, Accident and Emergency, inpatient services and Early Intervention Services throughout the past 28 years. I have gained knowledge and experience in identifying, and the treatment of, common mental health conditions, including ADHD. I am experienced and familiar with the process of diagnosis, planning treatment, initiating and monitoring treatment and communicating with appropriate agencies to follow up clients needs, thereafter.

I am a guest lecturer at the University of Chester, and enjoy various sports, film and travelling in my spare time.

I genuinely look forward to working closely with, and supporting clients accessing Psychiatry UK services, and aim to work with people to understand their treatment, solving problems pharmacologically and otherwise. A process I hope Psychiatry UK’s clients enjoy as much as I do.
