My career in mental health began 12 years ago. I have always been passionate about psychiatry which led me to first pursue a BSc in Psychology from Warwick University in 2005. I then obtained my registration as a mental health nurse from Kings College London in 2014, following by an independent nurse prescriber qualification in 2018.
My experience ranges across both NHS and private sectors, including acute in-patient, forensic, rehabilitation, community, and liaison psychiatry, to name a few. Alongside Psychiatry-UK, I currently practice as a Senior Nurse Prescriber in the cognitive disorders service within the NHS. My specialist interest is prescribing and management of the ADHD, with a focus on emotional dysregulation and gender differences. I am enthusiastic about innovative practice and quality improvement, including digital healthcare, and committed to flexible, safe, and patient centred care.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, keeping active and independent cinema.
